The Puma Slipstream "Made In Italy" - Brown, Grey & Green ($295) is one cool looking shoe. It was inspired by its predecessor "The Beast" and features premium animal materials from Italy. Ok, they've finally gone a done it, someone has actually created a working hoverboard! Hendo - The World's First Real Hoverboard ($10,000) ain't cheap, that's for sure, but it works and may be coming to a skate park near you in the not so distant future. The board itself works by utilizing four disc-shaped hover engines that create a magnetic field which allows the board to actually push on itself to generate the lift needed. Right now the board only works on surfaces made from a non-ferromagnetic conductor. The good news is they're also planning on developing a hoverboard park to take full advantage of their new technologies.Check out their new Kickstarter campaign, which offers some great less expensive rewards in case you want to support the campaign, but don't want to foot the $10K for the board.
We've all been waiting for Tesla to release an affordable car and it looks like that time is upon us. CEO, Elon Musk let the cat out of the bag during a Wednesday earnings call. The Tesla Model 3 ($35K) will be priced at $35K before you even get to government kickbacks and get about 200 miles on a single charge. Of course the less expensive price tag comes with one drawback, it will be about 20% smaller that its big brother, the Model S. They're hoping it will go on sale some time in March 2016 with a delivery date of mid 2017. If you're looking for their higher end then you're still in luck, the Model S and the upcoming Model X will still be available for purchase, but your looking at a $70K+ price tag on those models.

Once in awhile a product, although not for sale, is simply too beautiful not to write about. The O-bow ($TBA) is an electronic musical instrument. Using a standard bow or even a wooden stick, changes in the midi are produced via an optical sensor which measures the bow speed and horizontal angle with high resolution. To play you will need a midi keyboard to produce the string sound and the O-bow would add the bow flavor. There is no word yet on whether this device will ever hit the market, but I'm hoping we will see a Kickstarter for it soon. Check out this [video_lightbox_youtube video_id= 4L4cr80vT5Q width=640 height=480 anchor=video] of the O-bow in action.
