When the 2015 Corvette Z06 ($TBA) finally hits the showroom floor in early 2015 it is sure to have a long line of suitors. The new Corvette made its formal debut at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show and did not disappoint.
The Z06 features an LT4 supercharged 6.2L aluminum V8 that delivers 625 horses and 635 foot-pounds of torque. It also has the latest tech with the ability to record your driving via a windshield-mounted HD camera and an available Performance Data Recorder.
The System logs video of your drives with real-time performance data obtained from a performance processor, internal accelerometers and GPS system. The complete system has four driving modes which determine what information is captured, these include track, sport, touring, and performance modes.
The exterior of the car has been completely updated to increase down force and provide better cornering grip and high-speed stability. Expect this monster to be a real hit when it finally arrives. Check out additional pictures after the break.
