Land Rover just brought back the Discovery with the release of the 2015 Land Rover discovery Sport ($38K). Make no doubt about it though, this is a tweaked LR2 with some updates. With a starting price point below $40K, the deal on this compact SUV may be too sweet to pass up. The Sport features a 4-cylinder 2.0 liter turbocharged engine that pushes 240 horses with 250 lb-ft of torque and 1750 rpm. The power plant is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. The interior features stadium style seating with a sliding and reclining second-row. Only time will tell if this new entry into the CUV market will be able to hold its own the crowded market.
