Dodge has let the cat out of the bag and announced it will be releasing the 2016 Dodge Viper ACR ($TBA) (american club racer). Instead of just releasing a new model with a few fit and finish changes, they wanted the ACR to stand out. Dodge focused on improvements with aerodynamics, brakes, and tires. It will feature an all-aluminum 8.4-liter V10 that puts out 645 horses, paired with a 6-speed manny tranny. At 177mph, the ACR will produce over 2000 lbs of down force, keeping the light sports car glued to the road. Additional features include Brembo brakes, with six-piston calipers for the fronts and four-piston calipers for the rear. While the wheels are wrapped in 19-inch Kumho Ecsta V720 tires.
