British supercar giant, Aston Martin, has recently released news of the 2019 Aston Martin RapidE All-Electric Supercar ($255,000). Just 2 years after the release of the concept model, The RapidE will be the brands first all-electric model. Production will start in 2019 and will be limited to just 155 cars. It will feature the iconic silhouette of an Aston Martin with the dynamics of the Rapide S. While the six-liter V12 engine will be replaced with an all-electric powertrain. Still following the ethos of this iconic brand, the new RapidE will have the feel of an electric car, offering a unique experience to the seasoned Aston Martin fan.
The 2015 BMW i8 ($136,000) was recently put on display at the Frankfurt Auto Show. The plug-in hybrid is BMW’s latest release in the high-performance category.
