We’ve all been waiting for Tesla to release an affordable car and it looks like that time is upon us. CEO, Elon Musk let the cat out of the bag during a Wednesday earnings call. The Tesla Model 3 ($35K) will be priced at $35K before you even get to government kickbacks and get about 200 miles on a single charge. Of course the less expensive price tag comes with one drawback, it will be about 20% smaller that its big brother, the Model S. They’re hoping it will go on sale some time in March 2016 with a delivery date of mid 2017. If you’re looking for their higher end then you’re still in luck, the Model S and the upcoming Model X will still be available for purchase, but your looking at a $70K+ price tag on those models.
