Modscape is an architectural design firm in Australia who specializes in building homes and additions from modular prefabricated units. Modscape got their hands on a Victoria, Brunswick Home ($CALL) and created the perfect juxtaposition of new and old. The square addition sits in the back of the home but can been seen from the front. While completely different from the existing home the addition does a great job of complimenting it in scale and expression. The exterior of the home is made from black metal, while the inside features bright and mostly white surfaces. The rear of the structure features two stories of window glazing providing incredible views form each level. If you’re lucky enough to live in Australia and want something similar expect to pay around $250/sq. ft.
