Again brothers Justin & Jarrod Del Prado have created another work of art, the Alpaca By DP Customs ($NFS). Justin and Jarrod wanted a bike to sit permanently in their shop, so they rebuilt one of Justin’s personal bikes, a 1979 1000cc Ironhead Sportster. Their goal was to build a hot rod that was low and long.
Customizations include a bobber hardtail, a rebuilt engine with forged pistons and new valve and spring, and new turbo, aluminum intake and exhaust system. The 19″ front wheels were created by Thomason Performance, with a 15×5 steel wheel from a car, modified to work with a Harley Hub. It looks like the boys finally have the perfect bike for their shop.
Ross Osborne from Supacustom along with Triumph Australia and their respective teams have gotten together and created the Triumph Salt Racer ($NFS) in an attempt to set a new DLRA (Dry Lake Racers Australia) record at lake Gardiner in South Australia.
