The Arc Vector Motorcycle ($117,00) was just unveiled at the EICMA Motorcycle Show in Milan and it’s making quite a splash. The bike is a 100% electric cafe racer that features some pretty high end tech. It has a carbon fiber monocoque design and they boast a weight that’s 20% lighter than its competitors. Specs include a 95kW power plant with a top speed of 150mph. It has an incredible zero to sixty mph split of 2.7 seconds. Wow. The battery will get a 120 mile range on the highway and 170 in the city.
Those are some pretty cool specs. But the coolest tech is the wearable technology – an HUD helmet and a haptic jacket. The bike comes with a HUD display helmet. The helmet shows the rider pertinent information, and even has a rearview mirror so you never have to take your eyes off the road for extended periods. The jacket provides tactile feedback. Like giving the rider physical cues with a car is approaching. Additional features include speakers that give vibration feedback to the rider. Both of this wearable tech work to increase the safety, performance and rider awareness when on the road.
Addition features include a carbon fiber swingarm, custom Ohlins dampers, and Brembo brakes.
