The Bollinger B1 All-Electric SUV ($60,000) is the world’s first all-electric, all-wheel drive, off/on road sport utility truck. The B1 is a one-off prototype developed, designed, and built by hand in a renovated Hobart, New York repair shop. The goal is to pioneer a new segment of electric off-road SUVs. Currently the company is looking for a builder and is in talks with companies like AM General. As far as specs the B1 is a convertible full cab to half cab, has all wheel-drive and can reach 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds. It’s motors can produce a top speed of 127 mph, at 360 horses, and with 472 lb-ft of torque. 60kWh and 100kwh battery options will be available providing 120 and 200 miles ranges respectively. The batteries have about a 12 hour charge time. Internally the B1 will give you about 95 cu. ft of cargo capacity.
