Just moments ago David Blatt was fired by the Cleveland Cavaliers. Cleveland just suffered one of its worst defeats this season at the hands of the Golden State Warriors. Assistant Coach Tyronn Lue agreed to a 3-year deal to become the new Head Coach. Tyronn originally interviewed for the job in 2014, having previously worked under Doc Rivers and Tom Thibodeau in Boston. Now if you’re wondering if Lebron had anything to do with David’s departure, the official statement coming out of Cleveland was that he was notified but not consulted on the firing. Yeah right. With the playoffs just four months away, the money is still on the Cavs making the playoffs regardless of who’s coaching. The question is will Lue be able to get the X’s and O’s squared away in time to give them a legitimate shot at the Title.
