Wood is used in instruments because it imparts the best sound over any other material. And for that same reason Grain uses only FSC certified solid walnut enclosures in their headphones. But the enclosure will not make bad, sound good, so Grain pairs their wood enclosures with two 40mm drivers that feature neodymium magnets and a CCAW voice coil.
