The Inherent Vice – Official Trailer ($TBA) starts off with Doc Sportello’s ex-girlfriend showing up with a story about her billionaire land developer boyfriend and a plot by his wife and her boyfriend to kidnap him and put him in the loony bin. Needless to say, by the end of the story, Doc needs to walkaway. Inherent Vice features an all star cast including Joaquin Phoenix, Josh Brolin, Owen Wilson, Katherine Waterston, Reese Witherspoon, Benicio Del Toro, and Martin Short. With these all stars playing a cast of characters that includes surfers, hustlers, dopers, rockers, killer loan sharks, badass cops, an undercover sax player, and a guy only known as Golden Fang, you know its going to be a thrill ride.
