The JBL Authentics L16 Bluetooth Speakers ($999) are JBL’s latest foray into the wireless speaker market. The L16’s were inspired by JBL’s L100 loudspeakers. They have a beautiful walnut inclosure, feature optimized low and high frequencies, AirPlay, DLNA, and Bluetooth connectivity. Their Harman Signal Doctor tech helps fix degraded compressed music by adding details to low quality audio streams. It analyzes the audio-signal in real time and corrects waveform defects based on psychoacoustics. Specs include a 5.25″ woofer, 2″ mid-range drivers, and a 1″ tweeter and a frequency response of 35Hz – 35kHz. Check our the rear view after the break.
