If you have $14,000 burning a hole in your pocket, take a look at the Kalk All-Electric Dirt Bike ($14,000). Starting today Cake, the company that makes the bike will be taking pre-orders for 50 units. Each bike will be numbered and signed. This pre-batch comes with some unique features from the production models these include CNC machined alloy parts, and carbon fiber replacing plastic that’s in the production model.
It comes with a 15kW mid motor, that’s powered by a 52 volt, 50Ah battery. This setup provides 42Nm of torque, a top speed of 50 miles an hour, and an overall range of 50 miles. The main focus of this bike is torque and acceleration while providing a quiet gliding ride whether you’re on or off-road. Orders will start delivery in the middle of 2018.
