When I first saw the Lazareth Wazuma V8F Matte Edition ($280,000) I had no idea what I was looking at. It’s like this futuristic death machine. The only thing I knew was that it was love at first sight. The quads name sake is Ludivic Lazareth, the founder of the company. He made his name by customizing Yamaha VMAX motorcycles and through his pension of designing his projects through the hands-on use of materials and not through computers like the majority of the industry. Go big or stay home would be the perfect moto for Lazareth.
The specs of the special edition Wazuma are as crazy as this thing looks. First of the engine is a 3.0 liter Ferrari V8 with a BMW M3 transmission. This setup has 250 horses, weighs 1433 pounds, while shifting is managed by push buttons on the handlebars. Smart move, considering the speeds this thing reaches, it’s probably best to cut out as much distraction as possible. Additional specs include Momo wheels all around (285-30ZR18’s for the front and 315-30r18’s for the rear), 12.5″ Bremo brake calipers, and Sybelle engine management.
