The Lix 3D Printing Pen ($120) takes 3D drawing one step further by creating a 3D printer that actually looks, feels, and operates like a pen. The Lix 3D Pen lets you create anything you want in the air without worrying about paper or limiting your creative expression. The pen melts colored plastic, letting you create rigid and freestanding structures. The heating of the hot-end nozzle is done by plugging the pen into any USB 3.0 port.
