Writer and Director Luc Besson have worked on movies like La Femme Nikita, The Professional and the Fifth Element. So you have a pretty clear idea where he’s taking his latest female action hero, Lucy ($TBA). Scarlett Johannson plays Lucy a drug mule who obtains superhuman powers from drugs smuggled in her body. Where the rest of us can only use 10% of our brains, her brain power is increasing by the minute and only time will tell how powerful she will become. This movie looks like it has a lot of elements from the Matrix, but enough originality to make it worth seeing. Lucy also stars Academy Award winner Morgan Freeman and is expected to hit theaters in August.
