The Magnum MK5 ($139,000) lets you have your cake and eat it too. It’s a lightweight sports car that’s designed to be driven either on a track or the street. The MK5 has a four-cyclinder engine that produces 250 horses. Now that doesn’t seem like very much until you take into account it only weighs 1,200 pounds. That little four banger can get the MK5 to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds with a maximum speed of 150 mph. It rides on 225/40’s on the fronts and 265/35’s on the back. The carbon fiber body is completely removable. Production is limited to only about 20 units per year.
The 2015 Vencer Sarthe ($350K) is the latest supercar coming out of the Netherlands.
