Concerning EDC lights, the Maratac Copper Flashlight Rev 3 ($55) fits perfectly into that category. This light is machined from a solid piece of copper billet stock. This isn’t a copper plated flashlight. It’s hand-finished and measures 2.6″ long with a diameter of .5″, and weighs just 28 grams without the battery and 40 grams with the battery. The Maratac utilizes a Cree XP-G2 R5 LED light that lasts up to an amazing 50,000 hours. Additional features include a lens that’s been coated with an anti-reflective coating, three brightness levels, a clip and o-rings.
