One of the hardest things a human being can deal with is losing their memory, and Memento ($7) is a disturbing and thought provoking look at how a man deals with his short-term memory loss. Through the use of notes and tattoos he aims to track down who he thinks is responsible for the death of his wife. Written and directed by Christopher Nolan, he weave his magic to produce outstanding performances from Guy Pearce, Carrie-Anne Moss and Joe Paliantino. A heady mix of thrills and mystery, this is a movie you can watch time and time again.
