With two of the greatest screen performances ever given courtesy of Jon Voigt and Dustin Hoffman, the haunting soundtrack from Nilssen and superb direction from, Midnight Cowboy ($10) is one of those movies that everyone should see at least once. A naive wannabe gigolo tries to make a living as a male gigolo in New York so he can take his sickly friend Ratso to the coast. This has been described as the ultimate buddy movie and even several decades after its release it never fails to make you laugh and cry in turn.
