40 megapixel cameras are ridiculously expensive costing thousands of dollars. The idea that the new Nokia Lumia 1020 ($299) comes with 41 megapixel is amazing. The new Lumia scheduled for release on July 23rd will change the way you take photos and shoot video forever. The Lumia 1020 uses ZEISS optics, it has six lenses and optical stabilisation. The optical stabilisation uses ball bearings in the camera module to provide smoother videos and sharper photos – it’s all ball bearings nowadays. Sorry I couldn’t resist. Along with great video editing features and distortion free sound the Lumia looks like it could be a winner.
