The Pennsylvania Farmhouse By Cutler Anderson Architects ($NFS) is a beautiful work of art located in northeastern Pennsylvania on an existing 280 acres. The building was built with a low surface area to volume ratio to save costs and replicate the simple farmhouse architecture of the region. Its main feature is rolling sunshades and screens that enclose the entire home. When the shades are closed they reduce the internal temperature in the home by as much as 20 degrees.
