Ricoh is about to release what could arguably be the best compact camera ever. The latest Ricoh GR ($TBA) has all the specs of DSLR in a small package. The large format APS-C CMOS sensor and 16.2 megapixels, offer high-sensitivity and wide dynamic range. You get high contrast resolution from the center of the image to the edge, backlighting resistance and excellent blurring effects. The GR Engine V for remarkable image processing, provides images as you see them with your own eyes and faithful color reproduction. With all these features its easy to see how the Ricoh GR will give you quality equivalent to a DSLR. The GR is expected some time in May with a retail price of about $1000.
