Being one of the first “big name” tech companies to announce that it’s going after the much sought after and long awaited wireless ear buds/ headphones market, Samsung announced the Samsung Gear IconX Earbuds ($200). They look like they could be the ones to beat. Priced at $199 the Gear IconX could finally be the product to replace the more traditional wired head/earphones we so often see today. Being able to charge in their own case and being incredibly lightweight these wireless earbuds can connect to fitness apps and monitor your heart rate, distance travelled, and calculate the number of calories burned. But that’s not all. They also have four gigabytes of memory. That’s enough to hold up to 1000 songs. The IconX Earbuds will be going on sale sometime between July and September 2016. One thing to keep in mind – they only work with Android phones.
