Shinola Lake Erie Monster Dive Watch

The Shinola Lake Erie Monster Dive Watch ($2250) is not only the Detroit brands first dive watch, but their first watch with an automatic movement. The Lake Erie Monster (LEM) celebrates the rich diving history of Lake Erie and the Great Lakes and the lore of the unidentified creature. The watch is powered by a Swiss-Made Argomatic R-150 movement. The movement has 25 jewels and a 40-hour power reserve.
The caseback contains a relief of the Lake Erie Monster, which includes a blue sapphire eye. Every caseback contains a laser-etched individual serial number.

The 43mm case is made from high-grade 316L stainless steel and is topped off with a single dome sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating. Surrounding the case is a uni-rotating bezel with a black ceramic insert.

To make sure the dial is visible underwater the LEM feature Super-LumiNova indices for easy visibility day or night. Additional features include a 1000 foot water-resistance rating and days a 4 o’clock.
