If you don’t know Shinola, they’re a manufacturing company out of Detroit who makes high-quality well-designed products. They’ve been known primarily for their watches and bikes, but now it looks like they’re moving into clothing. Their latest release, the Shinola Men’s Varsity Jacket ($424), has the feel of a more grown-up take on the American classic. Features include snap front buttons, leather-trimmed slash pockets, and rib knit collar, cuffs, and hem. Made in collaboration with Golden Bear Sportswear out of San Fran, Shinola’s Varsity Jacket is sure to be a classic in its own right.
