Slide: The Lexus Hoverboard ($TBA) isn’t quite passing the smell test, but it is one heck of a marketing ploy. And if it actually turns out to be real, which I seriously doubt, sign me up for a pre-order. If you go on the Lexus website you’ll see them marketing their soon to be released hoverboard called Slide. Slide, if it’s real, uses magnetic levitation to achieve frictionless movement. Liquid nitrogen cooled superconductors and permanent magnets are also utilized to create the impossible. Along with the amazing tech you also get premium Lexus styling – including Lexus spindle grille signature shape, materials used in their cars, and natural bamboo. Stay tuned.
