On September 2nd, Sony will release it’s smallest mirrorless interchangeable lens camera to date. The Sony A5100 ($548) is the little brother to the A6000. It will be smaller but have much of the same internals. These include an APS-C 24MP CMOS sensor, bionz X processor, on-chip phase detection covering 92% of the frame, 6fps continuous shooting, and Wi-Fi. Additional features include a titling LCD (180-degrees for selfies) and 1080/60p full high definition video. You can also get the A5100 with a 16-50mm lens ($698). So if you’re looking for an entry level MILC, the A5100 looks to be a great option.
