The Spyderco Assist Black Blade ($84) is an emergency knife designed for professionals and civilians who need a tool that functions in unexpected, high-pressure situations. The blunt-tipped blade is made for slicing fibrous material like seat belts and ropes. The upper portion of the blade is made for smaller detailed cutting.
