Suunto is about to release their updated Ambit 2/2S GPS watch ($400-$650) in May. The new watch is a sleeker version of the previous Ambit. It offers options for cycling, swimming, running and multi-sport training. The Ambit 2 does loose the barometric altimeter and thermometer of the original, but includes route navigation, route planning and “find back” support. If you’re looking for more customization, their App Zone offers 5,000+ apps to support the Ambit.
