The Edge House by Mobius Architecture ($TBA) was their attempt to design a contemporary house for a mountainous rural environment. The effort was made all the more difficult by local regulations that require home to follow traditional forms.
The Edge was built on a sloping lot that cuts through about 8-meters of lime rock. The rock edge divides the lot into two levels. The lower providing privacy to the occupants and the upper providing amazing views of the surrounding area.
At over 9000 square feet this home is huge. The upper level houses the bedrooms, garage and swimming pool while the lower contains the main living areas.
