Ross Osborne from Supacustom along with Triumph Australia and their respective teams have gotten together and created the Triumph Salt Racer ($NFS) in an attempt to set a new DLRA (Dry Lake Racers Australia) record at lake Gardiner in South Australia.
Before beginning the project the two teams got together to set the requirements. The Salt Racer would have wire wheels, a 360-degree crank, a fuel injection system, and carbon fiber body. The horses have been upped from a standard Triumph.
The result is pretty much everything they expected and much more. The race is expected to occur later this month so wish them luck.
