The Zarooq Sand Racer ($100K) is a street legal dune racer. It is also the first production series car made in the UAE. It features a carbon fiber interior and exterior, that also includes an infotainment system and LED lights. The engine is a 3.5-liter V6 that will push 300-500 horses. It’s paired with a 6-speed automatic with paddle shifters. Stopping power is provided by 240 mm ventilated brakes with an adjustable front-rear bias. The one surprising detail is the car comes with rear-wheel drive. I would need a dune racing expert to speak up, but I would think all-wheel or four-wheel drive would be better bets for a dune racer.
