Bloodshed motors, has pioneered the world’s first class of Super Electric Muscle Cars (Super-E). They take classic, American made muscle cars, and add a high powered electric propulsion system. Add state of the art suspension and braking and you’ve got a monster on your hands. Or better yet, a Zombie 222 ($50K+).
As the title says, the Zombie 222 is a street legel electric muscle car which just set the record for street legal EV cars at 165.3 MPH. Just missing the overall EV record of 165.5 MPH, which also includes non-street legal cars.
The Zombie features an all electric twin 11″ drive train, and a LiPo Prismatic Pouch High Tec systems racing battery, with a drive range of 40 to 140 miles depending on the pack size. This setup pushes an amazing 800+ horses, with over, wait for it, 1800 lb-ft of torque.
Additional features include Bilstein coil over front suspension, SOT floating 3-link rear with Watts bar, Strange PRF180 Aluminum HD section, Flaming River rack and pinion steering, and 13″ Brembo disk brakes.
If you’ve got a muscle car you want to take all the way electric, expect to pay about $50K for a starter package, which gives you the same push as a standard V8 muscle car. Prices go up from there.
